Fashion Britain

Fashion Britain is a landmark nationwide initiative curated by the British Fashion Council that decentralises the UK's fashion landscape by extending investment, opportunity and cultural participation beyond London. It recognises British fashion as a national creative asset, with talent, innovation and cultural influence thriving across every nation and region.

 

The initiative marks the next chapter in the BFC's ambition to build a more accessible, connected and geographically representative fashion industry. Launching this September across six of the UK's leading cultural cities — London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol and Edinburgh — Fashion Britain will deliver a curated programme of public events, designer panels, cultural collaborations and retail experiences. Each city's programme will celebrate its distinctive creative identity while connecting local communities with the wider British fashion industry.
