Meet the Makers - Cardiff

The BFC Meet the Makers programme will shine a light on the exceptional design talent working across Wales, celebrating makers who are pushing the boundaries of fashion while maintaining strong connections to place, material and craft. It will provide a platform to discover the next generation of Welsh fashion talent, whose work reflects both the depth of the region’s creative heritage and its ambitious, forward-looking design culture.

Through Fashion Britain, the programme will showcase the people, processes and stories behind this work — highlighting the skill, experimentation and creativity that make Wales an important part of the UK’s fashion and craft landscape.

Meet the Maker: Jayne Pierson
As part of the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Britain initiative, this intimate studio visit offers a rare opportunity to explore Jayne Pierson’s creative practice and archive spanning more than 20 years.
