Luesday logo
Luesday artist Lucy Kelly is known for transforming discarded and unwanted materials into unique, meaningful objects. Unloved pottery and plates are reimagined as one-of-a-kind jewellery and mosaic works, while worn clothing and deadstock fabrics become wall hangings and shrines, embellished with repurposed jewellery and accessories. Sustainability lies at the heart of Luesday’s practice.

Through creativity and the art of repurposing, Lucy explores the potential of materials that might otherwise be overlooked or discarded. Her practice is not only a way of supporting her own mental wellbeing, but also an invitation to others to discover the power of creativity and reconsider what we value in a world shaped by surplus and consumption.
