Murray Clarke: 'Strip': Clarke's first solo show presents paintings literally cut into vertical strips and reassembled, so unrelated scenes sit alongside one another—a portrait, a domestic interior, a patch of sky, a stretch of brick wall. Works also shift between gestural and photographically precise registers, forcing two ways of looking at once. Vision is interrupted, memory and observation spliced into one unstable surface. 'As If the Ground Remembered': Seven painters: Jonathan McCree, Mary Herbert, Roudhah Al Mazrouei, Gill Rocca, Joe Grieve, Nathan Harbonn Viaud and Josh Raz, share a preoccupation with landscape as archive: ground carrying trace of the past and hint of what's still to come.
