Zandra Rhodes Foundation
The Zandra Rhodes Foundation and De Montfort University invite you to ZANDRA RHODES ARCHIVE UNFOLDED, a multi-site exhibition celebrating Zandra Rhodes’ major donation of archival material to the University’s Special Collections.
On receiving her Honorary Doctorate of the Arts from De Montfort University in 2023, Rhodes announced the Zandra Rhodes Foundation’s decision to donate several key archives, including those of her design collaborations, printed press coverage and photographic transparencies. Select material from these archives will be on display in DMU’s Leicester Gallery. The exhibition unfolds across two other main locations: the De Montfort University Museum and Trinity House. Visit the Museum to see the first in-depth exploration of Rhodes’ Autumn/Winter 1983 MEDIEVAL collection, and Trinity House to discover STUDENT WORK created in response to Rhodes’ donated archive.
The exhibition is free to attend and open to the public from 26 September 2026 to 16 January 2027. Opening days and times vary by venue:
