Hiut Denim

HIUT was founded in 2012 in Cardigan, West Wales, reviving a town’s proud history of denim manufacturing. The factory had previously produced jeans for decades, before production moved overseas in 2002, leaving the majority of the town unemployed almost overnight. HIUT brought denim-making back to Cardigan, rebuilding a community of skilled makers and creating jeans that celebrate craftsmanship, longevity and the people behind the product.

Come inside our working factory, meet the makers bringing denim production back to Cardigan, and follow the journey of a pair of HIUT jeans from start to finish.
