Meet the Makers: Edinburgh 

The BFC Meet the Makers programme will shine a light on the exceptional design talent working across Scotland, celebrating makers who are pushing the boundaries of fashion while maintaining strong connections to place, material and craft. It will provide a platform to discover the next generation of Scottish fashion talent, whose work reflects both the depth of the region’s creative heritage and its ambitious, forward-looking design culture.

ThroughFashion Britain, the programme will showcase the people, processes and stories behind this work — highlighting the skill, experimentation and creativity that make Scotland an important part of the UK’s fashion and craft landscape.

Join workshops with Strathberry and ERIBÉ Knitwear, offering an insight into their craftsmanship, creative processes and connections to place. Together, the sessions highlight the skill, experimentation and heritage shaping Scotland’s fashion and craft landscape.
