On Thursday 3 September Plaster, in collaboration with Omnibus Press, will be marking the publication of Janine Warren’s book 'The World Was a Mess But His Hair Was Perfect: The Last Indie Music Scene 2000-2010' with a suitably sleazy little get together at Plaster Shop. This is the first definitive insider account of an era in British music culture that gave us The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, The Cribs, Mystery Jets and many more. Arguably the last truly independent music scene in the UK. So dust of your fedora, dig out that Rimmel kohl pencil and join us for a night of nostalgia.
