Ben Malachi Das is a Welsh-Trinidadian designer working between Cardiff and Lisbon. The house makes tailoring to order year-round. Twice a year the tailoring is joined by a limited ready-to-wear edition, each piece numbered, produced in small runs in London & Portugal and never repeated. Everything is sold direct — through the website & studio by appointment. His latest "Pugilist" collection "Pugilist" is an exploration of early 1900's boxing drawing on references from the bare knuckle era, the photography of Malick Sidibe and the cinematography of Guy Ritchie. Leatherwear is inspired by the panelling & construction techniques of vintage leather punch-bags & fight gear.
