Refugee Women Connect

Refugee Women Connect is a Merseyside-based charity supporting refugee and asylum-seeking women and their children to build safe, secure lives in the UK. We provide expert casework, housing and school support, English classes, trauma-informed mental health support and wellbeing activities. We also run creative programmes, including sewing and fashion projects, giving women opportunities to share their stories, identities and experiences through creativity. Our annual fashion show, RWC’s Strike A Pose, brings together local designers, fashion graduates and volunteers, bringing Liverpool’s creative community together to celebrate diversity, creativity and the voices of refugee women while showcasing emerging talent across the city.
