DiscoveryLAB presents: DREAMING ELI by Elisa in collaboration with TONI&GUY

SS22 - DREAMING ELI’s debut collection at LFW - is presented through a film where the intermingling of fashion with performance creates an emotional and powerful moment. The video is a reflection of the tension between refinement and rawness, sensitivity and fierceness, represented herein by elements of ballet and acrobatic pole dancing. 
The collection is indeed a celebration of the feminine and the power of female sensuality. Reclaiming both materials and silhouette from cis het-dictated perceptions of “sexy,” the designer is seeking to subvert the traditional male gaze in the exploration of her personal concept of womanhood. 
In this sense, this deconstructed lingerie inspired collection can be defined as a mediation of the designer’s experience of the world as a female.
