DISCOVERYLAB PRESENTS: APAR

This season, APAR presents a short film by director duo Hannah Coen & Sophie Stalder, continuing an exploration of duality through the diptych, or split-screen. Objects from the designer’s personal collection are edited alongside the shapes his designs, binding them through form rather than narrative. 
Shot in monochrome, the interplay of positive and negative space emphasises the sartorial elements of the brand’s vocabulary, where stark silhouettes are subtly softened by the introduction of feathers.
