This season is titled 「涣尔冰开·Thaw, and Disperse」, a Chinese idiom that captures the late-winter moment when ice begins to loosen and life surges from fissures in the earth: from cold to release, from stillness to flow. Vitality breaks through darkness in a fierce, unwavering way, bringing a glint of hope.

Across the collection, Demon Zhang builds an “expansion—constriction” dialogue through oversized faux-leather jackets set against cinched padded trench coats and asymmetrical Chinese-style wrap-front jackets with defined waists, drawing a sharp, confident silhouette language. Modern Western tailoring—clean, structured, and gender-neutral—is once again reframed within an Eastern craft vocabulary.

Soft wool, acetate, velvet, denim, supple faux leather, and heavy jacquard satin form the core material palette. Techniques including fading, gilded foil stamping, patchwork, brushed textures, and prints are further layered with beading, bead embroidery, and star-like accents inspired by dian-cui iridescence. Jacquard, embroidery, and hand-made velvet florals evoke blossoms and new shoots after the thaw—delicate warmth blooming within rational, architectural forms. Staying true to its distinctive maximalist spirit, Demon Zhang crafts singular statement pieces designed to be the defining highlights of a wardrobe.
