Sanyukta Shrestha SS25 Film Screening - Cohesion

Pioneer sustainable fashion designer Sanyukta Shrestha is unveiling her latest collection and accompanying documentary, ‘Cohesion’ during London Fashion Week. The presentation will blend fashion and film offering a unique insight into Shrestha’s journey from Nepal to the UK and her dedication to sustainable practices that emphasise environmental, cultural and social cohesion.

The SS25 collection, titled Cohesion, draws inspiration from Shrestha’s personal journey as she avoids participating in the complexities and waste of the global supply chain. The collection is a tribute to the Nepalese people, the country’s exquisite century old handcrafting traditions, and the synergy between ancient practices and modern fashion. 

The documentary highlights the designer’s 20-year journey, from her upbringing in Nepal to her work empowering underprivileged women through ethical fashion. “Cohesion” captures Sanyukta’s deep connection to her homeland, bringing people together through her collection that underpins social cohesion, peace and security for people and the planet.
