We’re conditioned by external factors and expectations that make us feel hopeless. We see ourselves as broken and imperfect, vulnerable as if standing naked in a storm. We hide under the covers, we stare at the walls, we feel paralysed, while life seems to pass us by. The conditioning becomes a cage, and we hide inside it, afraid of wanting more. The distortions in our subconscious feel so real, but we’re blindfolded, in the dark, with a heaviness that restricts our every movement.
With time and introspection, cracks begin to form in our cages. We start letting light seep through, and realise that shame, fear, and distorted self-perception are nothing but an illusion. As we gain confidence, we separate ourselves from old beliefs and set ourselves free. The truth is that we are all inherently free and perfect.
Let’s wake up from a long-lasting nightmare, embrace enlightenment, and begin a journey of self-love.
