THEVXLLEY

Daniel Del Valle is a multidisciplinary artist born in south Spain and based in London for more than 8 years. THEVXLLEY is his main project as an artist and can have the form of sculpture, performance, fashion or any other way of expression. His artistic narrative is centred around the botanical and our intricate interactions with the natural world, offering a closer look at the delicate balance between human influence and nature's resilience.

The inspiration comes from his personal experiences, embracing elements of his upbringing in southern Spain, his gender identity, and his personal obsessions. An integral aspect of his artistic identity is the fusion of traditional artisanal techniques inherited from his mother and grandmother with the influences of his contemporary urban life. This blending of old-world craftsmanship with the vibrancy of city living creates a distinctive and authentic signature in his work. Through art, he aims to compel the audience to pause and appreciate the beauty of the world we are unintentionally harming. The intersection of nature and craftsmanship serves as a poignant reminder to reconnect with one's roots, fostering a deeper understanding of the delicate balance required for sustainable coexistence.

This mostly self-taught artist has contributed to various personal and collective projects showcased at festivals, galleries, and events across Europe. His work has also graced the pages of well-known magazines, and he has created commissioned pieces for notable artists and designers. 

He keeps working in his studio in London where he combines different collective projects with other artist and his personal ones.
