SEOKWOON YOON

Attracting attention from Brooklyn, Pratt Institute graduate  Seokwoon Yoon  founded his own namesake label in late 2018. Drawing inspiration from a wide-ranging mix of historical and modern-art references, SEOKWOON YOON brings a radically experimental vision to the brand’s ready-to-wear,straddling the boundary between art and ready-to-wear with a conceptual theme on his collections. SEOKWOON YOON translates inspirations particularly with Trompe l'oeil technique and combines art in his ready-to-wear collections. The label’s signature is expressed with the form of oversized and transformed pieces, reconstructed and unconventional twisting construction, offering a constant research for textile and structure through creative draping.
