Raquel de Carvalho is a Brazilian, London-based brand focused on redefining knitwear. Drawing from her Brazilian heritage, she reimagines traditional techniques with high-quality materials to create bold, contemporary pieces that challenge conventions and promote body liberation. Her work blends cultural roots with innovation, using knitwear and crochet to explore themes of sexuality, consent, and the connection between clothing and the body.

The brand is known for its focus on lace, transparency, and delicate knits that embrace the body in simple shapes, enhanced by intricate handmade details, open textures, and upcycled materials. merging hands-on crafts and technology, including crochet, and domestic machine knitting.

With a postgraduate degree in Fashion Design Technology from the London College of Fashion and experience at Calvin Klein and Gareth Pugh, Raquel won the top award at Pitti Immagine Filati for young knitwear brands in 2021. She debuted her first "Made in Italy" collection at Pitti in 2022, supported by Italian luxury manufacturers, and showcased her work at the Circular Fashion Summit at Galeries Lafayette.
