GROUNDTRUTH, the award winning backpack and accessories brand, innovates new materials and designs technical and contemporary everyday use products that directly remove plastic waste from the natural environment.

 

Founding GROUNDTRUTH Global in 2017, the Scott sisters set out to build a company that would help towards protecting the planet rather than destroying it. Drawing together their diverse skill sets, from feature documentary filmmakers and artisan textile specialists, the sisters have worked collaboratively to create a progressive and sustainable company with a unique range of beautiful, technical and advanced products.

 

With truth and authenticity at the core of GROUNDTRUTH - Sophia, Georgia and Nina  offset the entire carbon footprint from production and travel, and work with a completely transparent supply chain adhering to the Bluesign Standard of manufacturing. With collaborative and fair practices at the heart, GROUNDTRUTH is working to secure a more sustainable future for everyone.

 

By including innovative features in response to real-world travel experience and with modular systems, convenient access points and water-resistant shells - their designs offer a refined, resilient and secure way to carry all your essential equipment.

 

In 2020 GROUNDTRUTH was shortlisted for the Dezeen Wearable Design Award and won the public vote, were named in GEAR OF THE YEAR by Wired and most recently were shortlisted for the Drapers Sustainable Textile Innovation Awards 2021.
