Georgia Hardinge is a London-based designer whose work is defined by innovation, technology and a distinctive sculptural handwriting. Inspired by architectural forms and new technological processes, the brand incorporates a strong three-dimensional approach to wearable pieces. This pioneering aesthetic was recognised early in her career by the British Fashion Council, awarding her both BFC Contemporary Sponsorship and the Fashion Trust Grant.
Sustainability is central to the brand’s values. Georgia sets annual goals to reduce environmental impact across fibres, production and packaging, ensuring that every stage of the supply chain reflects responsible, high-quality practice. Her advancements in environmentally conscious textile treatments earned admiration from HRH King Charles, who invited her to represent the UK at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2022 in Kigali, Rwanda. The brand was also nominated for a Draper’s Sustainability Award for its work with certified recycled materials in partnership with The Sustainable Angle.
In 2022, Georgia competed in Season 3 of Amazon Prime Video’s Making the Cut, judged by Heidi Klum, Jeremy Scott and Nicole Richie, introducing her sculptural vision to audiences in over 240 countries.
Since launching her label in 2010, Georgia has built a globally recognised identity rooted in experimental pleating developed from paper sculpture and innovative fabric technologies. Her designs have been worn by leading creative figures including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Kylie Minogue, Florence Welch and Grimes. Her work has been celebrated by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and the Financial Times, while Grazia, Elle and InStyle have named her a designer to watch.
Georgia has collaborated on high-profile projects ranging from bespoke pieces for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with Swarovski sponsorship, to an exclusive Lancôme packaging design for Selfridges. Her two collaborations with River Island sold out rapidly across 22 stores and online. She has also produced sculptural works for the Elephant Family charity, displayed at the Victoria & Albert Museum and later at Selfridges for the Royal Family’s Animal Ball.
Philanthropy remains important to the brand, with recent partnerships including Age UK and Malaika to support essential fundraising efforts.
Today, Georgia Hardinge is stocked globally at leading retailers such as Liberty London, Revolve, Moda Operandi, Harvey Nichols Doha, Harvey Nichols Kuwait, Harvey Nichols Riyadh, Le Bon Marché, and Baymen. The GH customer is an informed, modern and fashion-forward individual drawn to innovative, effortless design.
Born in London, Georgia’s international upbringing nurtured her fascination for shape and structure. She trained at Parsons Paris, winning Best Designer for her graduate collection — the moment she first defined her sculptural aesthetic. She continues to live and work in London.
