Osvaldo Mercuri is an Italian menswear designer based in London. Graduated from Polimoda (Florence, Italy) in 2003 he has worked both in Italy and the UK with several companies designing premium collections for both the luxury and the casual market. Osvaldo founded Cortili in 2018 when he launched his first collection at London Fashion Week Mens.
In January 2020 the brand was selected by NJAL x Tranoï to show during Paris Fashion Week and it now sees its presence into many international editorials.
Cortili, meaning “courtyards” in Italian, is a contemporary menswear label that takes inspiration from the past: travelling back in time to small Italian towns, courtyards were the place where people would gather to meet their neighbours and socialise, where kids would play and dream.
Cortili brings back those memories focusing on sense of community and appreciation for the small things.
At the core of the brand’s values there is an extreme attention to quality and sustainability. In a world ruled by mass production and disposable clothing, Cortili collections are created on a much smaller scale through trusted, responsible sources.
The brand’s latest drop features limited edition pieces made in Portugal using premium Italian fabrics coming from dead stock.
