Primark is a proud new patron of the British Fashion Council, which comes as we celebrate 50 years on the Great British High Street, where we offer accessible and affordable fashion with great quality that’s designed for everyone. 

As part of City Wide’s celebrations, Primark will host a series of events between 13-17 September in our stores in London and Manchester. This event series will feature:

- 'Love It For Longer’ clothing repair workshops 

- Primark’s first ever Swap Shop pop-ups for pre-loved clothing exchanges, an exclusive vintage clothing collection featuring one-of-a-kind treasures curated by our long-term vintage partner Wornwell, with live music performed by Livvy K.

- Exclusively in Westfield Stratford, London, a bespoke Fashion Talk event where a famous fashionista guest will join Primark’s Head of Fashion Trends, John McCormack, to discuss the latest trends and high street must-haves to pick-up this season.

Learn how to love your clothes for longer! Join us for a quick fix master class, where you'll learn simple techniques to be able to repair your clothes & give them a longer life! 

Join our sewing experts for a 90-minute hands on practical & creative sewing workshop! No experience required! 

We'll provide everything you need to take part in the specially prepared workshop area within our store. All attendees will get a re-useable tote bag and a sewing kit so that they can put what they learned into practice at home!

The workshops will be 90 minutes long. Please join us 15 minutes before the workshop starts for a pre-session settling in, meet & greet.

At Primark, we're always looking for opportunities to educate customers about how to give their clothing a longer life. That's why we're excited to present Primark Swap Shop, powered by Verte.

Verte is the circular clothes swapping company, together we are on a mission to de-stigmatise the perception of shopping second-hand. As well as swapping quality, pre-loved pieces, the event creates a sense of community – encouraging people to interact with both retail and brands in a new way.

Step 1 - Choose up to five items, pieces you love but just don’t wear anymore and bring them to the event.

Step 2 – Claim your tokens. Depending on the quality of your items, we’ll give you a corresponding number of tokens. It’s a sliding scale, from high-street to luxury.

Step 3 – Let’s go shopping! Once we open the rails, go shopping! 
Verte rotate stock throughout the swap to keep the rails fresh for the entire event.

Livvy K is making waves in the music industry, with her music being played on BBC Radio and Radio City, as well as performing at various venues across the UK and US, including headlining three festivals.
