DiscoveryLAB presents: seventyfive in collaboration with DAZED

For S/S 23, seventyfive is delighted to announce the launch of their new collection, Cardinal. In Cardinal, seventyfive’s lead designer, Janny Ye, uses archival imagery from 1930s Chinese magazine culture, as well as archival imagery from North America and Europe, to explore the aesthetics of the 1930s female androgyny, producing a range of womenswear and unisex garments and accessories. 
This event will launch both Cardinal and showcase the video and imagery produced for DiscoveryLAB, in collaboration with DAZED. In the video for this collection, we reflect on everyday female androgyny, as we follow our protagonist, Mime, through their daily rituals as they prepare for a night of being wild.
