James Massiah: Clio Corset

The British Fashion Council has commissioned poet and musician James Massiah to create this piece for London Fashion Week June 2020.

“Clio corset captures all the things that are fun about Summer and all the things that we might miss because of lock down. It represents the London that I know that’s not on lockdown and is full of charm, spirit and zest and of course The Haggerston which is the first place I’m going to go once lockdown is lifted! She, They and Him is about not focussing on peoples’ identity, race or class. You can choose the clothes you wear, the people you hang out with and the places you go and I really wanted to focus on those things more.”
