We are an India-proud brand with a foundation that is a proud accumulation of the designer’s experiences and interactions with women from the world over. With a vision to lend Indian fabrics, embroidery, motifs, and craftsmanship a modern twist, we design and make clothing in India for women across the globe for diverse occasions. Sruti Dalmia is Indian in its spirit but with an international ecosystem. Beyond employing artisans and craftspeople in its office and production facility in India’s capital, New Delhi, we also routinely collaborate with international artisans, creatives, and artists who share the same creative and artistic wavelength as ours. The motive? To take India to the world while we also bring the world to India through our creation. 

We are proud to have launched our debut collection at the London Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2021, and continue to showcase at every edition of this prestigious fashion event. Our pieces are also stocked in coveted stores & boutiques around the world. Celebrities & influencers from across the world have graced our pieces. Our creations have also been featured in esteemed international as well as domestic publications like Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Grazia, Marie Claire, The Voice of Fashion, HT City, The Indian Express, Homegrown, among others.

Sruti Dalmia is a Kolkata-born designer who transformed her insatiable calling for fashion into the eponymous label she helms today. Raised in a Bengali family in Kolkata, she embarked on a journey that spanned four countries—India, England, Singapore, and Myanmar—absorbing the diverse cultural and visual influences along the way, before finally making her way back to her homeland, India. 

During her time in South East Asia, she transitioned from a corporate career to pursue her passion for fashion. She immersed herself in the indigenous culture, taking design lessons from local designers. This rich tapestry of experiences shapes the unique and diverse essence of Sruti Dalmia's creations, which seamlessly blend tradition and modernity.

Sruti Dalmia's creations are inspired by and infused with the essence of Bengal, a place close to her heart. Her design aesthetic gracefully marries modern global style with traditional Indian artisanry, resulting in creations that are at the same time timeless and contemporary.

Formally founding her brand in 2021, Sruti also made a resounding entry onto the global fashion stage with her triumphant showcase at London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2021 . This initial success set the tone for all her subsequent collections, which have garnered international acclaim.

Sruti's path to launching her label was a testament to her unwavering dedication. Juggling motherhood and dreams of starting her own brand, she began Sruti Dalmia as a one-person endeavor, operating from her garage. The hard work paid off when her debut collection sold out within just twenty days! 

Presently, her brand is based out of India’s capital, New Delhi where she works with artisans and employees in the brand’s office and production facility. Beyond its confines, she also collaborates with creatives from around the globe who share the brand ethos and beliefs in order to harness an international ecosystem for the brand to not just create but also maintain and innovate the brand’s unique aesthetic philosophy and design language. 

Beyond her creative prowess, Sruti Dalmia is committed to sustainability and conscious production. She strives to instill the principles of slow fashion into her brand, offering ensembles that are not only chic and contemporary but also align with responsible practices.
