TAMMAM is a world-renowned, cult British sustainable couture label based in Bloomsbury, London. Founded by activist Lucy Tammam, the atelier is known for its fibre-to-finishing approach. It works exclusively with ethically sourced materials, fully monitored and transparent supply chains, and ethical and cruelty-free production processes. The TAMMAM atelier prides itself on the use of traditional artisanal craftsmanship.
The trailblazing label is now in its 16th year. This London Fashion Week (September), will see TAMMAM, in partnership with Stop Ecocide International - a driving force behind the global movement to recognise ecocide as an international crime, using this important platform to call for stronger legislation to protect our planet.
Previous TAMMAM collaborations include a collection with the European Space Agency and the global phenomenon of the 'Climate Stripes Couture' project, each featuring images and patterns that use fashion to start conversations about climate change.
TAMMAM has been showcased on catwalks, fashion weeks, and events worldwide, including Paris, New York, Berlin, Delhi, Sydney, São Paulo, London and many more. Her garments have been worn by sustainable influencers, VIPs, high-profile actors and musicians and the label has had wide media acclaim from high fashion publications Like Vogue to The Guardian and the BBC.
