Mithridate is a Chinese-founded fashion house, established in London in 2018 and headquartered in Guangzhou under the direction of CEO Tina Jiang. At its core is a commitment to craftsmanship, timeless design and an innovative approach that seeks to transcend traditional seasonal cycles.

The brand takes its name from Mithridates VI, the ancient King of Pontus who famously protected himself against poisons through self-devised antidotes - a legacy that informs the house’s ethos of resilience, independence and rule-breaking creativity. This spirit underpins Mithridate’s cross-cultural identity, bridging British sartorial codes with Chinese heritage to create collections defined by precision tailoring, refined fabrication and quiet subversion.

Since appointing Daniel Fletcher as Creative Director, the brand has entered a new chapter, presenting runway collections at London Fashion Week and sharpening its global design voice. Fletcher’s vision merges traditional tailoring references with contemporary silhouettes, balancing classic elegance with progressive energy.

Recent cultural moments have expanded the brand’s international visibility, including the AW25 campaign featuring Alexa Chung and a red-carpet appearance with Kim Cattrall at the 2025 Fashion Awards.
