FANGIRL

FANGIRL is a black owned non-gendered apparel and accessories brand that launched in February 2020. Inspired by club culture, the brands aim is to serve the black and LGTBQI+ community first, celebrating self-expression and visibility.

Founded by Rani Patel-Williams, daughter to an Ugandan Mother and Indian Father, she explores how our identity intersects so many things, therefore challenging societies ideas of gender and race.

Described as "a radical non-gendered accessories and apparel label" by Refinery29, FANGIRL in a short space of time has launched two drops, collaborated with non-binary trans illustrator BLK moody on a lock-down fundraiser shirt, and released it's first documentary "Black & Boujee" a film exploring the experience of identical twins navigating race, sexuality, gender and religion authentically.
