Frankie Phillips is the founder of TOBEFRANK and part of the designer duo TOBEFRANK&MOLYNEAUX. As well as Creative and Sustainable Direction Frankie is the Founding Trustee of TOBEFRANK Foundation which is a charity focused on women's empowerment in the fashion industry.
Born in Rotherham, Frankie moved to London in 2011 to work as a Fashion Designer for a high street supplier. At 22, Frankie showcased as a Luxury Fashion Designer at London Fashion Week and was voted ‘Ones to Watch' by Vogue Magazine. Frankie continued to show for 4 seasons and in 2014 was the cover article of YDMagazine Under 30's Creative Pioneer's issue. In 2015 Frankie moved to China to work at Jack and Jones, then is 2017 Frankie moved to Hong Kong to work for Next. While Frankie lived in Asia she saw first hand the devastating effects fashion can have on the environment and its communities. Frankie activity became involved in working with factories, brands and retailers to become more ethically responsible. Frankie has studied Environmental and Sustainability courses from Leeds, Leicester and UAL Universities.
While living abroad Frankie worked on the TOBEFRANK concept, and after 3 and a half years living in Asia, Frankie decided to move back to London to make her idea into a reality.
