Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

One for the more serious foodies among you, Heston Blumenthal’s first London venture sees the superstar chef traveling through time to assemble a menu of typically odd but surprisingly palatable dishes from English history. Early entries include rice and calf tail from the 1390s and meat fruit from the 1500s through to chicken from the 1600s, spiced pigeon from a century later and even ‘recent’ dishes like cod in cider from the 1940s. Quite a trip.
