AURIA was founded by Diana Auria after she graduated from London College of Fashion and won the ‘Fashion Innovation’ award for her graduate collection ‘Artemis’ - a collaboration with artist friend, Margot Bowman.
This collection went straight on to exhibit at London Fashion Week SS13 as part of the sustainable showroom ‘Estethica’. Three years on, AURIA is now a dynamic creative partnership between Diana and Margot. It is this union, the brand's core values and their playful style and iconic prints that has made AURIA a leader in sustainable fashion.
All AURIA swimwear is made in London using new generation sustainably sourced nylon; made somehow quite fittingly from recycled fishing nets. Being one of the first to use this fabric lead the brand to be awarded ‘Highly Commended’ at the Sustainable City Awards 2013 as the best Sustainable Fashion Designer, supported by The British Fashion Council.
AURIA has been featured in the likes of Vogue, Elle and Grazia and favoured by celebrities such as Eliza Doolittle, Daisy Lowe and Rihanna.
