DESIGNER NAME: Christopher O’Brien
BACKGROUND: Christopher is from Nottingham. While Christopher studied for his womenswear BA at Central Saint Martins, he undertook two 6-month internships for Jonathan Saunders and Giorgio Armani. After his BA, he worked as studio manager and design assistant for Jens Laugesen for the next 2 years, where he was able to form his own personal design aesthetic before returning to Saint Martins to do an MA in menswear. Upon graduating in 2011, he worked as part of the design team at E-Tautz.
SIGNATURES: “At the moment it’s all about androgyny: mixing together elements of sportswear and tailoring. In reality, it’s always developing.”
