Atis Artemjevs

London based designer Atis Artemjevs has been drawn to fashion since early childhood when he would cut up his grandfather’s shirt to create clothes for dolls. Born in Riga, Latvia, he moved to Italy to study fashion design and recieved his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Milan’s prestigious Istituto Marangoni. He further refined his skill designing projects for Giorgio Armani, Missoni and Gianfranco Ferre Studio.

Exploring the boundaries of place and time, Atis Artemjevs is continually inspired by the places he has lived, from Milan and London to New York and Los Angeles. Disillusioned with the commercialization of fashion, he seeks to recapture the glamour and indivuality of fashion along with the return to craftmanship. He designs for the distinctive woman whose duality and contradiction ignites the imagination of those around her.

In 2011, Atis Artemjevs launched his global line. Committed to the strictest standards of excellence, the ATIS ARTEMJEVS collection is made in Italy, using only the finest Italian and French fabrics. Atis Artemjevs celebrated the opening of his London flagship store in December 2011.
