DESIGNER NAME: Kate Sheridan

BACKGROUND: Kate is from the UK, she studied at Cordwainers. She worked for Patrick Cox, Johnny Moke and shop girl before setting up her label.

SIGNATURES: “Geometric prints used every season on a collection of canvas bags and a collection of vegetable tan leather bags, the Popper bag being a signature.”

TRADEMARK PIECE: “Waxed cotton batwing coat that is reworked each season.”

THE COLLECTION: “The collection has taken a darker, stronger mood for winter. Practicality and simplicity are still the fundamental design elements, with East end charm. Inspiration came from urban and industrial forms, shapes drawn from grates, drains and scaffolding have been reworked to direct the print collection.”

CULTURAL INFLUENCES: “The Bauhaus movement and the soothing sounds of First Aid Kit are on repeat in our studio.”
