THE COLLECTION: “I drew inspiration for my AW13 ‘A Night at The Opera’ collection largely from my many visits to the London Coliseum Theatre - the home of the English National Opera and a charity I closely support, the English National Ballet.
 
The ceilings adorned with gold gilding and the Baroque style in which the Coliseum Theatre has been decorated permeates the collection in the form of vintage lace, sumptuous velvets with opulent gold and glitter detailing. The colour palette of the collection comprises rich jewel tones of emerald, berry, purples and regal blues.
 
I have introduced twists on my signature ballet pumps with metallic detail on the heels, over-sized bows and Swarovski jewel-encrusted toes. Delicately buckled flats and laser cut Mary-Janes add to the luxurious, theatrical feel of the range.
 
Smoking slippers with metallic embroidery and small heels coated in gold are a flamboyant alternative to my classic ballet flats and I have added a new style to our bijou collection of flat boots, a simple knee-high boot in the softest suede in neutral tones as well as a more daring shade of plum.”
