LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S 2014

INFORMATION

London Fashion Week will take place from 13th – 17th September 2013.

CATWALK SCHEDULE
The catwalk schedule is suitable for designers wishing to show their ready-to-wear collection on the ‘runway’ to an audience of 350+ with one specified time slot and no repeat shows/sittings.

PRESENTATION SCHEDULE
More and more designers are choosing to show in an intimate 'salon style' way or creatively through a static installation. Designers wishing to show in this way are more relevant to the presentation schedule.
Presentations must run over a minimum of 2 hours and up to a full day. They should consist of at least two repeat shows (if salon style) so as not to clash directly with a catwalk show.  The presentation slots are interspersed with the catwalk slots on the official schedule. Please see the downloadable version of September's schedule here.

The closing date for applications is Friday 12th April 2013

VENUES

Designers can choose to show either in the official BFC Catwalk Show Space and BFC Presentation Space (The Portico Rooms) in Somerset House, or in an outside venue which should be located within close proximity of Somerset House, WC2.

BFC CATWALK SHOW SPACE - SOMERSET HOUSE
Situated in the courtyard at Somerset House, the official BFC Show Space can accommodate up to 600 seated guests plus 100 standing guests and a reception holding space for 350 guests.
To find out more about what hire of this space includes, please see a copy of the production manual from last season here

BFC PRESENTATION SPACE – THE PORTICO ROOMS AT SOMERSET HOUSE
Situated on the first floor of Somerset House with terraces overlooking both the Courtyard and the Thames, this neo- classical room with backstage prep areas is the perfect space for a salon style presentation or static installation.
The rooms can be hired for a half day, full day and/or an evening.
